Hotel guest reviews plugin for WordPress: verified reviews on your own site

Guests read reviews before they book. When the only reviews they can find are on Airbnb or Booking.com, that's where they book. The Reviews module of Pandao Booking Pro brings verified reviews to your own WordPress site, where you can show them next to your rates and your Book now button.

Only guests with a confirmed stay can review

A review belongs to a stay, not to a page anyone can post on. Guests write theirs from their booking page, from check-out day up to 90 days after. Only confirmed stays booked on your site qualify: stays imported from other platforms don't, so every review on your site comes from a confirmed booking made there.

Review invitations by email

Each guest is invited once, by email, within three days of check-out, between 10 am and 8 pm. The email links to their booking page, where the review form waits. You can edit this email and the three others: review published, review declined (with the reason), and the alert that a new review is waiting for you.

Moderation with published guidelines

Every review is read before it goes live. A counter in the menu and on the dashboard shows what's waiting. You can only decline a review for a reason stated in your guidelines: offensive language, personal data, unrelated to the stay, advertising or a conflict of interest. Never because it's negative. The guest is told why, can edit the review, and it's read again.

That's what makes reviews credible. Readers also see how reviews are collected and checked, which EU consumer law requires of any business that publishes customer reviews.

Respond to reviews in public

Thank the guests who loved their stay, and answer the ones who didn't. Your response shows under each review: future guests see how you look after people, which often matters as much as the rating itself.

Your average rating on your booking site

The Guest reviews block shows your average, the breakdown by rating, the reviews with your responses, and how reviews are collected and verified. A Guest reviews page is created with the block when you publish your first review, and you can place the block anywhere else, such as your home page or a room page.

Reviews and privacy

Reviews show the name the guest chooses and the month of the stay. When a guest's data is erased with the WordPress privacy tools, their reviews are deleted too.

Can I delete a negative review?

Not for being negative. You can decline a review that breaks your guidelines, and respond to any review. Honest reviews, good and bad, are what make the average believable.

Will my rating show as stars in Google results?

Don't count on it. Google doesn't show review stars for reviews a business collects about itself on its own site. Reviews on your site work where guests decide: on the page where they book.

Can guests review stays booked on Airbnb or Booking.com?

No. Those guests review on the platform they booked with. Your site only publishes reviews of stays booked on it.

Do I need Pandao Booking Pro for reviews?

Yes. Reviews are a module of Pandao Booking Pro, which works with Pandao Booking, the free WordPress hotel booking plugin.
