Activ'Map 2
A responsive map with markers sorted by categories, to search and locate services, shops or points of interest in a city.
Give the plugin your places, from a JSON file or directly in the page, and your own filters. The map shows the markers of the selected categories, clusters them when zooming out, and lists the places by distance from the centre of the map, a searched address or the visitor's position.
Two skins (classic and compact), custom marker icons, a radius filter, map styles from Snazzy Maps, distances in kilometres or miles.

Type an address to centre the map, choose a radius, or let the plugin geolocate the visitor.
Clear results
A results panel sorted by distance, highlighted when a marker is clicked, with an info window per place and custom content if needed.

Frequently asked questions
The map does not load and the console mentions an API key
Google Maps requires an API key for every site created after June 2016. Create a key in the Google Cloud console with the Maps JavaScript API and Places API enabled, and add it to the Google Maps script as shown in the documentation of the plugin.
No marker is shown
With request: 'strict', a place must match every selected filter. Check that the selected categories have places, and that no select list is left on its default value.
